Boutique Hotel

Creating a building that fits right into its context of natural trails and walkable village, we broke up the building into smaller sections to reduce the scale. The design allows guests to soak up the view of the mountains or to rest their heads in beautifully spaces. A living roof allows for plants and pollinators as well as solar panels to contribute to the site.

Water Street Trails Hotel, New Paltz, NY

Tuthilltown Visitors Center Addition - Gardiner, NY

This tasting room project is all about relaxing with nature while doing some tasting and savoring some cocktails by the fire. It entails a large addition to the existing tasting room at Tuthilltown Visitors Center, also known as Hudson Whiskey. 
A breezeway connects the tasting room to the existing building, where tours will begin, and includes handicap accessible restrooms, utility spaces and decorative oak barrels. 

Town of Newburgh Recreation Center - Preliminary Design

Preliminary design for a new 40,000sf recreation center in the Town of Newburgh. The project includes three basketball courts, multipurpose spaces and employee offices. The site is a town park on a lake and this building fits right in.

New Restaurant - New Paltz, NY

Chestnut Square Mixed Use Building - New Paltz, NY

A new mixed use building with commercial spaces on the first floor and fifteen apartments above. The building will have direct access to the local rail trail and fits wonderfully between the lower buildings of the village and the much taller modern building to its north.

Gardiner Town Hall Addition

This municipal project includes a major addition on an existing historic schoolhouse that currently houses the town meeting rooms. The addition includes office space for both town departments and the state police substation.

Riverside II Renovation - Poughkeepsie, NY

A repeat client asked us to renovate an old garage into light filled office space along with a new building entry. We also included a beautiful outdoor courtyard for employees to get some fresh air!
